Sweet & Tangy Barbeque Chicken

Ingredients

For the sauce (makes about 32 oz):

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce
  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders

Directions:

  • In a 2-quart sauce pan, combine all ingredients. Whisk well.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly. Boil for one minute.
  • Let cool, then use immediately or transfer to a container to store in the fridge if you're not using it right away.
  • When ready to use, brush on both sides of boneless, skinless chicken breasts and grill until seared on both sides and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Enjoy!
