We are all super busy. At any one time we can have our cell phone ringing, a text message coming in, a reminder popping up about parent teacher night, and the looming thought of baking cupcakes for your daughter's bake sale in the back of your head. And all of this happens before noon! Sometimes you just need to unplug, relax, and refocus on what truly is important. After all, what does it matter if you have to buy store bought cupcakes over "home made" cupcakes? One of the best ways to disconnect and plug in with your family is through camping.

We put together a list of 5 ways RVing can improve your life.

Relaxing | When you hit the road in your RV you can relax knowing that you've got everything you need to survive and kick back in comfort. In fact, you take everything you have at home with you on the road, but are given the chance to leave your worries and cares behind.

Connect With Nature | Deep within most people is a desire to connect with nature. Why do you think things like "primal eating" and "primal running" have become popular? Hint: it's because people are desperate to get back to their roots. When you sit outside your RV surrounding by trickling streams, towering trees, and majestic nature you get an idea of just how spectacular nature is and how minimal your problems are. Being outside also increases serotonin levels, which improves your mood balance.

Fresh Air | Escaping the city and demands of life can actually improve your health. By breathing in better air and letting loose you can actually work toward improved mental health. Plus, fresh air has been proven to clean your lungs of toxins and pollutants, which we could all probably use a little more of.

Healthy Eating | Like most Americans your diet probably includes a hefty amount of fast food and dining out. Sure, it's convenient, but it can also take a huge toll on your health leaving you feeling sluggish and sick. When you're camping you're forced to cook for yourself. More often than not what you make at home is much more healthy and tasty than what you get at fast food joints.

Improved Sleep | When you disconnect from "city life" you have the chance to improve your sleep because of you're resetting your circadian rhythm. A couple of days away from computer screens and smart phones might be just what you need to start sleeping better and feeling refreshed.
