Ringing in the New Year in Your RV

It's time to buy some streamers, pick out champagne, and look up the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne! New Year's Eve is upon us and for those of you lucky enough to be ringing in 2016 in your RV we've got some fun tips to make your celebration sparkle!

Sure, you can up the wow-factor with some shimmery decorations, but some of the best party decor, and easiest to clean up, is big piles of sweet treats. Fill clear bowls with candy, stack some cookies and colorful doughnuts on plates (buy them prepackaged to make party prep even easier), and don't forget the ice cream. This is a day of indulgence and celebration! Plus, everyone will need a little sugar to stay up until midnight.

If your New Year's Eve celebration will include kids, then let them in on the fun with "mocktails" of apple juice or chocolate milk. Set up a crafts section for them to make a time capsule to open on next year's New Year's Eve and don't let them forget to write out their New Year's Resolutions. Wear them out with classic party games like Musical Chairs and Freeze Dance, then put them to bed a little early so the adults can get some time to party. Need help getting them to sleep? This year, Netflix will be running a fake countdown every hour to let kids believe they're ringing in the new year too. Don't worry, your secret is safe with us!

Celebrating New Year's Eve in your RV is a beautiful way to say goodbye to 2015 in an intimate fashion while surrounded by those closest to you.
